But are you an expert? I’m confused
From what practice do you have an offer at EY as SM?
FSO. Does this change how should I consider the offer?
Do you like strategy work? Will you be doing strategy work at EY? Also do you like having sales targets?
How are you getting a pay bump match if I can ask
I had extensive conversations with my CC when I was interviewing at other places and my CC went to discuss with the CAD (Practice Lead) that I am a retention risk. He got the information from the CAD to help me understand what the salary band is and how much they were willing to match.
He also used the fact I’m moving into strategy to justify that it’s still within the strategy salary band.
By expert I mean that as an SM I will have to lead sales pursuits on many topics that I do not really know as I recently switched into a new group. For me it’s quite a new subject.
There are sales target I will have to meet.
The 40k would be the minimum increase in base (still negotiating for more salary and a signup bonus)
Supposedly there is strategy work that I’ll be doing at EY but from what I have seen they have EY-P which is there true strategy arm. It doesn’t look like EY breaks out strategy by specific industry like at Accenture.
Yes offer in hand and negotiating.
I have heard M1 getting SM.
Agree it’s more of what responsibilities I want. For me it’s the fact I’ve switched from 4 different practices in my career so never have been stable and don’t feel confident in my industry expertise
Sorry, I don’t care how good you are. C to SM is a stretch. I really hope if you go, it works out.
Ah, that makes sense.
How are you an M2 and jumping into SM role at EY? I’m part of FSO and can confirm they don’t bring Managers to do SM job here. That’s unheard of.
