I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

There’s a pretty strong pro-FAANG sentiment in this bowl. I have no interest in those companies, so the choice is easy
Coach
Same I’d switch to MBB easy
Higher hourly rate at FAANG for sure. Not uncommon to find 40-50 hour roles that pay great.
Coach
Which PA?
Like for FAANG
Like for MBB
Coach
Well it depends on your goals. If you want to manage FAANG products, then the choice is pretty obvious. If you want the broadest early business training across disciplines then choose MBB.
It’s why I chose consulting.... wasn’t sure I wanted to be in tech. Still have no idea.
Coach
Also be aware that you’re biasing answers based on which bowl you post in. Exit ops are filled with those wanting to leave consulting lol if you post in MBB bowl, it’ll probably skew the other way

I bet if you asked this question in tech/engineering exit ops (if it exists) FAANG would still win. And win by a landslide like it is here.
Coach
Depends what you want to do. If you want to be a PM, go FAANG. If you’re not sure/ want to do anything else in tech (eg Corp strategy) do MBB.
People go to MBB to get to FAANG. Skip a step.
I don’t see how this would be better experience for a fresh grad than working at MBB.
Deloitte
I'n a combo of both, SWE exp and no interest in tech so MBB for me
What do product managers do at FAANG

Apparently approve terrible app icons.
For people with technical backgrounds, would choose MBB. (E.g., I interned in FAANG SWE and could pivot back to product / SWE imo if I wanted to)
