Keeping my money behind my toilet’s tank, safest place ever and nobody knows about it 🤣

funny

Well, now we all know about it. 😉

What interest rate does your toilet tank pay, though? Money market funds are yielding 5.19%.

BOA for every day stuff. Have some money at some local credit unions.

like

Chase and Capital One.

wells fargo for everyday stuff, a small local for loans, mortgage, and cd's

Bofa for checking, chase for credit cards, vanguard for brokerage

Charles Schwab for brokerage and checking. [Yeah, I work there, but I really like their checking account.] My mortgage is through Schwab Bank/Rocket Mortgage. I also keep like $1,600 (small amount, just to avoid monthly fees) in a Bank of America checking in case I want to deposit cash or go to a brick and mortar bank for anything.

Laurel road. The savings account interest rate is 5%

Chase

Local CU

USAA and Capitol One. I would never bank with BOA.

Boa for everyday banking and cc use. Been with them for decades and never had a problem. Local CU for some other stuff. Fidelity for brokerage.

My hope is to buy and rent out a apartment while also owning a house and house hacking that by renting part of it out. Trying to understand all the steps, traps, and how to find if it’s a good investment.

If the gross CTC is more than 120K in Poland, tax will be 32% right?

Seeking feedback on GAP insurance. I had a family member who purchased a car in June or July. They were in an accident last week and it sounds like the car will be declared a total loss. Never dealt with this before, so wanted to ask if anyone has ever had an instance where the insurance didn't cover the outstanding balance of the loan and the insured then owed money? Car was $35k, $7k down, finance $28k. Gap insurance is through lender, not auto insurer.

I recently joined citi. I have been given choice for to select superannuation as 13% of BS or 12500/- monthly or zero.

This is one time selection and not reversible.

I need more detail about superannuation and is it beneficial or not?

Also is there any retirement age in IT field 🤔 (or in citi)?

Hi Fishes

Joined My new company this Jan. My previous income was not eligible for tax slabs. Now while adding the income from Apr 21-Mar 2022 it's become 5.9 LPA. I don't have any investments and in my new company I declared the same. The only tax exemption I have is PF contribution and professional tax. I have only 25K PF contribution and 2.5K professional tax. So while calculating the tax I am getting 15K as tax payable. How can I avoid this 15k. Kindly pour your suggestions. TIA.
