Why PMP and not PRINCE2? Haven't done either but keen to know your reasons for choosing PMP.

Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. What can I do? Is it that just your IT work ex they consider? Suggest things I could do. Completed 8 months in Accenture now as SAP Functional consultant.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. How can a media planner break into media consulting?

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction. Recruiter and mgr had great things to say around growth and opportunity, which doesn’t align with feedback from the bowls or Glassdoor.

Managers, what do you do to keep stressful projects from hurting your work/life balance?

Any other lonely social workers in here? I mean a lot to some of the people on my caseload but that's about it. Don't have any family near me and it's hard to make friends with non-SW's mostly just because I'm too tired after work to want to do much. I secretly and sometimes loudly pitty women and men who move out of their parents home to live with a SO. I think it's important for people to live alone before moving in with a SO. It teaches you a lot about yourself.

Tell me your craziest experience working with a TV network. Here comes mine:

I'm American, but my family is mostly Colombian. I was told my aunt and cousins would come here for 2 weeks. I discovered they were going to be paid to appear in a famous Hispanic TV show, where a "judge" receives a case, hears the plaintiffs and defendants and renders a verdict. But of course, it's all fake and payed 😂 turns out she wanted me to go there (even though I don't work for that TV network) so she's sure she'll be paid at the end of the show. Wth did I just do.

Working from home in customer support provides so much flexibility as a stay at home mom. I can take care of the home, my babies and work without feeling guilty ….talk about mutli-tasking!

Value Vs Price

While selling something I believe in, I've always focused on the value to justify the price & leave a little room to negotiate.

If I personally believe in a terrific, purposeful value packed product that commands a certain price- I would make sure it gets reflected the way you position, pitch and solves a crucial pain point like no other.

Reason being simple- If you believe in something it's easy to sell

Question on PMP contact hours : I have taken a 3 credit course during my masters in "Project Management". I also had a "Project Management and IP" course for my undergrad. Can I technically use these towards contact hours? If so should I estimate them in a ballpark or specific way?
