Why would someone pursue BTech from an IIT and then go to Top IIMs for MBA in order to be a civil servant later?
I have seen many people with IIT, IIM degrees going for UPSC.

Isn't it waste of time resources and seats just to do a British era job which is just to lick feet of the politicians and be a slave ?

I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

Been working at my company as a new grad for almost a year, but don’t see myself in the team that I am in (working with Salesforce) for long term. One of my junior associates recently resigned and I've been trying to make an exit myself for several months now. The job market has been really competitive but I am getting closer to getting a new job and moving on. The firm culture isn't great and work-life balance is non existent. My physical and mental health have been suffering, so I really don't think I could stay. How did you avoid the guilt trips from Partners/Senior staff trying to get you to stay?
