Are there any debt consolidation options for a professional family man with a decent credit score, who's let high interest credit card debt get out of hand? I get the mailers that entice with a low advertised rate, and then the offer comes back at something slightly less than what I am already paying. I am thinking something along the lines of a bank that I can talk to, and explain exactly where the money is going, not being apposed to a direct deposit to the card companies themselves.

I have been practicing in creditors rights/foreclosure in PA & NJ for around 4.5 years. Due to the foreclosure/eviction moratoriums there is no work to do and I was furloughed. I am looking to change directions- what is the most logical next move?

Buying a house with monthly expense of $4900, although my current rent is only $2350. My total HHI with my husband is about $310K. I’m feeling weary of spending this much but we live in a HCOL area near a major city and we have high taxes. It’s hard to find anything decent under $800K. Should I just suck it up in order to be a homeowner?

Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF. I’m well liked around the office, I put in the hours and work hard, I haven’t had any dumpster fire projects, but I am a mediocre performer compared to my peers (not as strong project management, communication, not as confident). Today I encountered the strangest bug I have ever seen with Excel+Thinkcell. I have, as always, a separate Thinkcell sheet where I gather and structure the data (from other sheets) I want to make charts of. However, when linking this data to charts, all formulas in the sheet turns into values. This has never happened before. Anyone else seen this and knows what is going on?
