What should I do in a scenario where I was hired (12+ years) with far less salary than(~20% less) than other members (4+ experience) in team and asked to take 80% of team's responsibilities. So I used to work for a company where my job was good, was a director of business solutions for a fashion brand. Only issue was that the CFO micromanaged and ended up leaving. My background is digital transformation however I took an infrastructure position to rebuild a provincial healthcare system. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

If a company matches 50% of 401k contributions to 6% of salary, does that mean they’ll put in 6% if I put in 12% or will they put in max of 3% on my 6% contribution? Curious what their wording means
