Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

i stumbled upon this article that talked about this book. we always hear about the “secret” of strong leaders is that they wake up early. has anyone read this/tried it out?

More importantly, no one in California calls it Cali... gah like nails on a chalkboard
fo sho!
No. I'd need a pay increase.
It depends on what you make currently.
^ Yeah, im having a hard time...think that the same salary will fall very short in Cali...and I hear the hours are really not that much better...travel would be the only plus...but i think i like consulting too much :)
Yup, SF...which will definitely be more expensive...lol well I called it Cali, you can tell I dont live there ;)
F. No. living in Ca is not that great. Yes, they have farmers markets, a lot of diversity, great working perks, fantastic weather, awesome scenery, amazing food trucks, SF & LA, but it's expensive as ffffffffffffffff (yes I would. I totally would.)
If you're sick of traveling then go for it...i would consider it.
Yes
I'm assuming by "Cali" you mean SF? LA actually isn't that pricy (depending on where you live), SF rent is crazy expensive - it will definitely give you sticker shock if you're not used to NY-level prices
Lol @A3 too true
