Would you take this job? I acknowledge that everyone’s situation and tolerance is very different, just looking for a discussion. A company requires 34 scheduled appointments per week ( assessments specifically, no long term care), stating that about 25-26 clinical hours will be provided if accounting for no shows and cancellations. 34 scheduled clients a week seems absolutely bonkers.

I interviewed for one that required 40 scheduled per week and to call no shows or cancelations when another occurred. They wanted you providing services to clients 8 hrs a day.

Nope. I did this private practice for a bit, wow me out. Would not do this for a company.

My mom is also a social worker, but retired. She would take 40+ clients. Insane!

I schedule 33 clients a week and maybe 27-29 show up. I’m happy with it because I work 3 1/2 days and being private practice feel like I have enough to pay bills and save a few hundred a month but honestly depends on your threshold. Prior to being a social worker I worked in residential counseling third shift 10 hr nights so 10 hour shifts tues thru thurs and 3 hours on Friday is perfect for me. It’s the 9-5 grind I can’t do.

2. Is it wise to include health riders in insurance plan to claim for 80d or just chose health insu

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?
