My suit pants ripped beyond repair. Is it ok to wear a suit jacket without the pants, like a blazer?

I'm thinking of directly emailing the founder of a small startup I'd really love to work at. Does this scream "overconfident millennial"? I've never felt this strongly about a company before.

I’ve learned something new on each project, and I’m afraid of coming off as an idiot so I rarely contribute to conversations; only after I have done research on the topic and have prepared do I speak/give ideas

My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. I’ll try to bring it up with them, but I’ll say “if you want to end this feel free” so it doesn’t hurt me (and they can say what they really mean instead of sugarcoating). Someone told me today that they just assume I’m not interested because I always seem to “run” but I’m not sure how to bring up problems/feelings otherwise. How do you approach these hard questions?

I work remote from the west coast and I love it. I rarely travel for work but next week I’ll be in our NY office. I’m actually excited to wear work clothes again for 1 week 😂

I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. I've been applying to jobs for months but every position wants at least 2yrs of experience in real estate transactions, usually way more. I'm at 1yr+ doing HOA/condo work but have had no opportunity to do real estate transactions like I expected. Seems like the only way to get the experience is to have nailed a big law gig right out of school and get put into that practice.

Client, layperson, may have agreed orally to a settlement amount without proof of damages prior to filing appearance and obtaining an attorney.
