What to expect with the FAA Interview for Management/Admin Assistant? What’s the hiring process

I got an offer for a tax manager role for $115k. Should I negotiate for higher?
Context:
- I have only 3 years of experience and had interviewed for a senior role. They upgraded it to manager for me since they liked me
- Official title is State Tax Manager.
- I’d normally be fine with this given that it was a surprise upgrade, but what irks me is that the HR rep gave me the range of 115 to 125k and then asked if 115k is okay

When I was interviewed I was told I would need to make a choice between doing this job right or having a life. Were any of the tips/warning signs you were given accurate?

My interview for wipro dotnet ended in just 15min for dotnet.
I gave all the ans and i think interview was good.
The interviewer asked only basic and then all of a sudden he said ok i am done.

I have interviewed with 5 different people for a senior level role at a publicly traded media company. I was told last Wednesday that they are getting approval to offer me the job. I received a follow up on Friday making sure I received the message.

I followed up on Tuesday and was told the offer is with the CHRO waiting approval and that the feedback on my interviews was strong all around.

It's now Thursday and I am very eager to lock down this offer. What's my next move? HR or manager?

Prepared, attended and cleared technical interviews with DUSI for lateral hire two weeks back. Now HR is telling me that the open positions are less. Since my NP is 90 days, profiles with lesser NP are preferred for now and my profile has been put on HOLD.
