Question for the US folks - My international degree and ACCA qualification gives me 125 credit hours towards CPA eligibility. What is the most effective way I can get the remaining 25 hours? I am in NY if that matters.

My sole reason of pursuing acca is to improve my package by moving to relevant SL

I don't prefer Audit as I don't have any exp.

Is it worth to finish my qual. and get the membership

I moved to the UK for MBA degree under student visa. I will end my term time this Sep and can only sign temp contract under this visa. How can you find an accounting temp job in London without UK Exp (4 years of audit exp in PwC, CPA Australia qualification not ACCA)?

How much highest package should one get as per market for 6 yrs relevant experience in sap fico S4 Hana with certification and part qualified chartered accountancy pursuing final level ACCA UK and total experience of 8 yrs.

I have over 6 years of work exp and am a manager currently and just going to complete my ACCA. I don't have any experience in assurance, will I be placed as a staff or are there chances of being a senior

My CTC right now is about 7lpa, can I expect a hike of 30% as staff or would that be an issue

What are some good job roles/ops for someone with with an ACCA certification (UK) and just passed all parts of the CPA (pending work experience) within tax? Would international tax be a good starting point ? I recently moved from the UK to NYC

Know this is a long short. But is there anyone in here who came from Africa. Never went to a big University, not from a rich family & eventually broke into Investment Banking in the US,EU or Middle East? I work at a Big 4 (Senior Associate-Audit) in Zambia. Crazy hours, low pay. IB has always been a dream,but even if I saved up, it'd take me more than 6 years to get the money for a top University. Writing CFA L1, but I'm told no one cares about it, same as my BAcc or ACCA. Only a Top MBA Counts.

Hi all, need some advice on my future from those whom have life experience. I’ve been in the accounting field for around 4 years. I enjoy my job, but I prefer the business side of things, less accounting itself. I got promoted to Audit Senior at EY GDS in January 2022 during mid year promotions.
Most probably I will be progressed to Senior 2 in October.
My current CTC is 7LPA. I am non qualified (Don't have CA/CPA/ACCA degree as of now)

Hi all, need some career advice!

I'm currently in audit and want to enter into consulting. I came to know that the starting roles are Analyst roles.
To begin my career, should I look into Analyst roles only in consultancy firms, or is it fine if I take up such roles in other companies for the experience?
