Joining MBB in Oct and wondering what credit card to get.

factors to consider:
•Currently have CapOne Quicksilver (did it for intro $ offer a year+ ago).
•Backpacking Europe for ~6 weeks in Aug, so looking to put purchases on new card. Already paid round trip, but not the intermediate parts.
•Unsure how much traveling for cases, esp w the WFH situation.

Was looking at Chase Freedom Unlimited for $300 offer & % cash back, but curious ab other options. Corp card prob also affects decision.

Been working at my company as a new grad for almost a year, but don’t see myself in the team that I am in (working with Salesforce) for long term. Interested in frontend dev and have been learning on my own. Manager says chase doesnt have much React opportunities. Is it possible to make a switch when I barely have experience? Are there companies that will hire by seeing that I am willing to learn and am interested in frontend even tho I don’t have much experience with it yet?

Putting an offer on a condo, do the folks on H1B include any visa clause for out? How do you factor for contingency when your visa is pending the regular renewal/ extension considering i140 is approved ?

Applied for a spouse visa, anyone have any ideas on how long it’s been typically taking? Website states 3-12 months so wondering if it’s been on the longer end or shorter end in the recent past!

Hi Fishes, I am really interested in product management and want to switch my role from risk analyst in a product owner/product manager role.

I work on in-house tool of my company beyond which I dint gain any technical knowledge and found myself stuck and also lost my coding skills. Almost it's nearing a year since I joined and gained nthg specific in technical side. And looking at full stack developer roles is putting me into awe...What shall I do? Should I learn such courses separately or suggest me where can I restart my career as a developer?

What is a typical team structure at MBB for a large corporate strategy project ? For example, portfolio review and growth strategy for group of 3-5 businesses on public holding company. Would that be team of 5? Team of 10? And how involved are partners on a project like that (e.g., more a member of team or more a stakeholder)?

I got offer Letter from infosys 2.5 months back, now when I am trying to decline the offer by sending a mail to HR, it was not getting delivered as HR left the organisation 1 month back, I forwarded mail to feedback team of infosys but still got the mail from onboarding team with joining details and WebEx link, kindly suggest how to proceed in this case.

Hi, this is a bit early but thought y’all might have some good insight. I’m exiting my current startup & have two offers on the table 1. A successful small startup in NYC doing PE/niche executive recruiting and 2. a fairly reputable PE consulting group in Austin. I’m going through the recruitment process at McKinsey for a middle/back office role (capabilities for a really cool space) but by the time I hear back, one of my offers won’t be on the table.
