Almost 4 weeks in and my status is still wrong. It was correct for the first ~1 day and then bumped down a level. Shouldn’t be hard as all my nights last year were SPG. This is ridiculous.

Just booked flight to Hong Kong. Best SPG/Marriott to book on points? Trying to find proximity to good nightlife, restaurants, and public transportation. (Cont.)

The new SPG app is not intuitive at all, very hard to navigate i find.

Relatively new in Big4 M&A advisory doing mostly integration work with some pre deal DD mixed in. I recently heard L.E.K. Consulting places well in MM PE but don't know much about them otherwise. Was interested if anyone had insight into whether a jump to their M&A or PE groups would be possible. In terms of background, I have an undergrad business degree from a T20 school and graduated a T14 law school as well.

Anyone here works for Johnson Controls? I have heard mixed reviews about the company. Not sure if I should make the jump based on what I’ve heard so far. For context, I am looking at a security account executive role.

Debating between two offers, $105k at Deloitte or $120k at Guidehouse. Is GH worth the extra $$$ or should I go with the brand recognition of D? Both offers have already gone through negotiations.

I would also appreciate info regarding progression raises at D and GH.

I keep seeing people say this is the new normal. But it really isn't, this is a temporary normal.

Any tips for moving up in a medium/large-sized legal department, aside from switching companies? I work in a collegial environment with plenty of opportunities to create more value, but the management level is fairly crowded and it seems the clearest path to get one of those roles is to be hired into it. Wondering if anyone has had experience with the tech excellence program at Booz Allen? I was hired a month ago in commercial consulting and now they are asking me to do the tech excellence program. I read some pretty bad things about it and am pretty confused
