What to expect with partner/MD interview? Senior level. It's been a while since I've done this..

Interested to hear thoughts. 3 months of interviews (16 or so), presentations, in person meets. Moved to offer on a senior role. They changed their mind for the other candidate post verbal and ref checks. Anyone seen this? What happened?

I have reached to VP interview round for Senior pursuit Advisory Analyst role, I have cleared first round of interview followed by case study assignment, what type of questions should I expect and what CTC I should be expecting. And how many more rounds will be there if I clear this one

Can anyone speak to PWCs data and analytics practice, specifically the TMT industry? I’m considering applying to a senior role. I’d like to hear about the wlb and how interesting the work is.

I have a SA FDD offer with Grant Thornton that’s offering $97k base. Also interviewing for a Senior Consultant position with FTI consulting in their OCFO solutions practice (Corporate Finance and Restructuring). Made it past the first two interviews, one of them technical, so I’d really have to collapse to mess up getting an offer at this point. The issue is I’ll have to get an extension on accepting GT’s offer. Is waiting for FTI worth it? Insights on salary comp, WLB, etc. is appreciated!!

I’ve been promoted with a title but not the responsibilities. I’m job searching and am primarily looking at postings that don’t include my promoted title — I’m not sure how to professionally articulate in an interview why I would be willing to take a “step down”. As I see it, I’m looking for a lateral move because I don’t actual have experience as a true “senior”.

Interviewing for Strategy&, specifically for the Cloud and Digital Transformation group under tech Strategy as a senior associate.

I Would like to know what would make a candidate standout here. I already did 3 interviews and now have the final round Partner interviews this week. I have a lot of strategy experience with tech components but I am not a tech expert, but I am extremely interested in increasing my knowledge and joining. Any tips?

How many people are waiting for bonuses before leaving their current firms? I’m at PwC and our bonus will be given on 10/1. I’m pretty sure my entire team between director and senior plan to start interviewing after 9/15 or 10/15. Are there any other firms who have yet to pay out bonuses yet? Wondering how hard it will be to find something in a couple of months.

I started interviewing before knowing two other seniors in my engagement leave. Now I have been presented with the opportunity to work as a senior technical accountant at a public company $80-85k. I recently got promoted to senior and although I do have 2.5 years of experience in public accounting the first year was done at a different firm I do not know how much I will be making as an S1 but I hear is in the low $70s. I am debating whether staying another busy season or leave now.

Trying to get out of appraisal/valuation consulting. Just had 1st round phone interview with a smallish (international) real estate private equity firm for a Portfolio Management Analyst position. Previous roles were Senior Consultant at a sub-Big 4 accounting/consulting firm. Base pay is $10K higher with 20-30% bonuses. Is this a good move?

I’m a senior consultant with 3 YOE and the places I’m interviewing are putting me in the 105k-115k comp range. I make 101k now so I feel like this isn’t enough, especially with the raises we’re due for this October. Am I overestimating what I should be paid?
