Any PWC and EY FDD referral? Thank you so much! Thinking of applying for a senior associate role.

Hi, has anyone recently done a phone screening for KPMG? What did it consist of? Been at the same company and haven’t interviewed since senior year of undergrad so I’m a bit rusty and nervous 😅

I have a opportunity but I’m not sure how to maximize it or even have the conversation. I’ve been approached by two different companies to take senior designer or higher positions. I wasn’t looking and I’m very happy with where I am but people recommended me and a recruiter reached out. I’ve chatted with both and one wants me to interview next week. The other wants to have another chat and “try to make the job more shiny to me”. How can I use this to gain a bump at my current job?

Anyone had a FAANG company try to mislead you in applying for a role you’re overqualified for, hoping you’ll jump just for the name? I was approached by Apple for a channel sales role. I made it clear that I have been a senior manager in the past, and wouldn’t take a more junior position than that. The recruiter said the seniority can be defined later, and we should just talk. Is it just me or are NYC rates starting to get low? I'm getting interviews that's 65k for senior roles at top agencies, but 95-125k in the middle of freaking nowhere in PA and MA for midish roles.

Anyone else feeling this?

Had an interview with PwC just before Christmas for a senior associate role with one of the acceleration centers and have not heard back yet. I have chalked it up to the holidays but just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience interviewing around this time of year, and if so how long I can expect to wait?

Interview questions with a PM?
I'm currently interviewing for senior software engineer and have a couple interviews with PMs (culture fit, etc).
I've had some rocky relationships with PMs.
As a PM, what would you like an engineer to ask you?
As an engineer, what would you ask a PM to understand how the work with engineers, what they prioritize, if they throw engineers under the bus, etc?
I've also had many experiences with great PMs.

What do you look for in a team or company?
I'm currently job hunting, and as a senior software engineer, it looks like I'll have many options. What questions would you ask the hiring manager or team members to understand the culture of the team?
Specifically I'm looking for: collaborative work environment, focus on mentorship, interesting technical challenges, good leadership/management, little-to-no work drama.

I am currently working as a government contractor while also getting my masters degree. My goal is to pivot to a career in management/strategy consulting. At the time I’ll apply, I’ll have 3 years of work experience working on special projects. Should I apply for associate or senior associate positions? Additionally, any advice on networking/applying would be appreciated

Senior associate on the Pl side doing complex lit. I got an offer from a major defense side firm in NYC… that fell through because of conflicts. Finding it difficult to get any interviews at this point. Was the prior offer a fluke or have you seen any senior associates successfully hop then V?

Hi all! I am applying to the Senior Analyst role at McKinsey Africa SHaPe hub. Looking for advice about the structure of recruitment and succeeding through interviews.

If you are interviewing for a position a level above (senior counsel) and the interviewer asks you “where you see yourself in 3 or 5 years”. what are they trying to get at? I don’t understand how this question should be answered.

Got promoted to manager this year and making 152k. Got an offer from BCG Platinion but they're bringing me as a Senior Consultant for 160K.

I tried other exit ops at Amazon, FB, MSFT, Walmart, Mastercard, etc but they never followed through past the initial interview or call with the recruiter.

Would the move to BCG be a good idea? I'm stuck at EY doing implementation work I'm not enjoying and I'd be doing more IT strategy and management at BCG which I enjoy more.
