Interviewing with Deloitte for an SM role in cloud engineering in Canada. What salary can I ask for? Would $250k be out of range?

If you exit at the SM level, what kinds of roles/levels are you looking at in industry? I know this will vary widely, but looking for some examples.

How do I know if consulting is not for me? I have no clue what I’d want to exit to or if I’d be happy. I don’t want to make a rash decision and leave only to realize I liked consulting more than whatever I end up in. Am I just unmotivated to work in general?

Why do recruiters set up a call with me, say they'll back to me about a next interview, then tell me the firm currently isn't hiring for the role? Why even have the job posting in the first place?

For people who join a firm for a year or less, what makes you to jump ship so quickly? Isn’t it hard to convey the message to your hiring manager?

Hi Guys,
I just received an offer from a Big4.
In my resume I have mentioned my last designation (Senior) along with my total experience with that firm.
I have received multiple promotions with the firm which I have mentioned in the first bullet point.
I have not mentioned each role individually and have mentioned my title as Senior-XYZ Firm - 2018-2021.
Now my question is will this come up in a Background verification and will it be justifiable.
Specifically for the Europe/UK&I region.

For MBBs and particularly BCG - SEA to be more specific, is it the case that if you're rejected from the final round you'd get an email or a call but if you got the role it will definitely be a call?

BCG 🐠, I see a lot of relevant feed on my LinkedIn under “BCG Operations” for supply chain consulting and Sustainability. When I look for any openings on BCG careers , I only see related openings under the Expert track. Is this normal? I would love to apply but want to get into a more generalist consulting role but focusing on SC and Climate sustainability. Pls guide.
If it matters, I am looking for openings requiring 10-12 yrs of exp.
