PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

That’s fine
They’ll ask you to fill out a form for a background check, where you’d have to provide your last designation. Ensure that you mention the exact same title as you had at the previous firm.

No
No, lots of people structure their experience that way on their resume to save space. This isn’t a big deal at all, especially since you spoke about your progression at the firm during your interviews.
Short answer no. However I am not sure about Europe/UK but for KPMG US background check did flag job title mismatch, I just had to send a simple explanation email to HR and all was well.
Same thing happened to me with KPMG less than a few weeks ago. They emailed me about the discrepancy and I gave my detailed explanation regarding past title mismatch. Don’t think there’s too much of an issue as it was pretty minor and I honestly just forgot the exact title lol

Resume isn't usually used for background checks. They use the online application where you should have probably included the different roles unless the experience section wasn't explicit about providing role-level information.

Should be fine, they may still make you fill out an application for tracking purposes so just add that detail there if that happens.
