@GoldmanSachs Im taking a Hirevue assessment soon, anybody got any tips on what type of questions we get? Scenario, behavioral, etc? This is for an entry-level analyst position (not IB).

Scrum Product Owner Vs Scrum Master Vs SAFe Agilist - Which is a better cert. to pursue if you aspire to move into Product Management . Are any of these certificates valued for a Product Management role or help one to move into Product management. Also, is it valued in consulting as well?

Background: I'm with the company for 1.5 years. My ratings are 2 (last year) and 3 (this year). I've been reaching out to get more work since this summer with no success. The team has been hiring aggressively (~ 5 times bigger since I joined). They let go two SM recently.
My situation: I had conversations with my PM, partner, and resource planning manager telling them explicitly that there hasn't been enough work and I feel disengaged. A month later (now) I got a PIP. What's your advice?

How do you come to terms with the reduced income trajectory that will happen when you exit to industry? I know it's possible to leave for industry with quite a big jump in salary, but after that salary growth seems downright stagnant. How do you turn your back on the possibility of making a million a year's a partner? I know not everyone would actually make it to partner, but still.

What are the best exit opportunities for management consultants (transformation jobs) at a bank?

Any folks exited from Big4 to FP&A in tech? I work in valuation now and want to make it to a finance role in tech in the medium term (2-3 ish years). Anyone done similar? Anything you would do differently?

Wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this short term vs long term decision; currently I'm a consultant making 100k. Friend just got a job offer from another competitor for 150k senior consultant. I won't hit senior until summer 24. My thought process is when I hit senior in 2 year I can apply for a manger role elsewhere for more. Should I follow suit as my friend and run or stay the course?

I just found out I was promoted… in October. In November, my project ended and I was told I’d be fired if the client didn’t have another role for me. Am I crazy or is flip-flopping like this kind of ridiculous?

I interviewed with managers at PwC for a senior associate position (internal firm services, no consulting) a week ago. Should I send a follow up or wait a few more days?

What is the role of the PML at KPMG? Are you my manager or not? How can I expect to develop a relationship or to have you go to bat for me if we only talk like three or four times a year? I’m new here and I don’t understand this model of leadership! How does anybody ever get promoted? And how do you build relationships in this firm? Is this the way across all Big4 firms?

I’m a design strategist/researcher— what consulting firms are hiring for that and actually do good work and not innovation theater? I’m getting a little disgruntled at C1, and looking to work with very smart people who know their shit.

I have experience in web development, QA testing, and some project management (not officially as a role but in the nature of work I've done in the past). The last few roles I've had were Business Systems Analyst, Associate Developer, and now Consultant. How can I get my foot into product management? Are there degrees or certs that can boost me on paper? I'm not very good at selling myself.
