It's Monday. I have a ton of slides to do. It's that time of the month. A thunderstorm is raging outside. And all I can think of is going home and applying to other jobs. I think I am just hormonal to
I just had an interview and really hope I get the position. But even if I do, I think they are gonna offer me 75K and I have 3 busy seasons under my belt. I feel like that is too low for me to leave..
Interviewing for corporate strategy/development role that requires a decent amount of financial modeling, but I know nothing about it. How quickly can I learn it in a week?

Hey I trying to equate a principal role at Amazon to a big 4 consulting rank - levels doesn’t list Principal as a level to compare. Anyone got any insights they could share?
I am applying for some in-house roles and wanted to hear from other brand strategists who have made the transition. Thinking about job requirements like “experience developing a marketing plan” which a strategist would understand but not have experience developing...I’m wondering how you spoke about your background and skill set in an interview process to overcome a lack of in-house experience? Thanks for any thoughts
What type of exit opportunities do people usually leave for? I saw someone leave as a senior consultant and moved into a director role in industry. Is this a common transition? I'm thinking ahead since I can see the consulting life getting old quick. I'll be doing another few years at the very least for the experience (and $), but curious to hear about how industry employers view healthcare consultants and how we match up with other folks in industry that are applying to the same roles.
Thoughts on this article? Seems like the authors bumbled a bit without really doing their homework. At least they were able to exit without loss. Very amateur. https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2017/05/frank-and-stevens-excellent-corporate-raiding-adventure/521436/
Two years out of undergrad, in risk advisory at a B4. Interested in switching to more of a tech implementation role at a place like Deloitte. Any tips to make the transition?

How easy it to switch in house counsel jobs once you're in house counsel? I'm looking to make the switch from law firm to in house counsel in the healthcare industry and wondering how careful I should be in selecting my first in house counsel job. I don't want to have accidentally closed the door on switching in house counsel jobs without realizing it. Is it easy to switch companies? Or should I hold out to make sure it's a company/ position I could stay at for the longterm? Thanks!
Anyone switch languages from R to Python? I’m very good in R but only know a little bit of Python. A job that I interviewed for and sounds really interesting expects everything I do now in R to be done in Python. If anyone has made the switch before I’m curious how much time it took you to learn and what the best resources were for you.

Following a first round interview with PE funds, I’ve had recruiters reach out and ask my thoughts on how the conversation went, *before* telling me if I made it to the next round. Why do they do this? I always feel like, ‘idk, you tell me how I did’?
Can someone please take me through their interview experience for cyber compliance analyst role with the big 4?? TIA!
Are there benefits to staying at a consulting firm for more than a year if the exit opportunities offer more? Analytics consultant here, looking to be earning about 90k next year. I think I could make 120k in industry, but I could probably exit closer to 160 in about 5 years. Am I foolish for thinking it’d be better to stay given the learning opportunities?
Sitting on two offers (verbal) for PM roles in NYC. Potential for a third coming in soon. Been interviewing for over a year and things are finally looking up 🤗

Looking for suggestions for house plants (two or three varieties) that look good, don’t attract insects and worms, hardy, and low maintenance (don’t need daily watering). Now that WFH is here for some part of 2021, I wanted to bring some plants to my home office. Pictures of your own home office plants are also much appreciated. TIA!
