Senior in Chicago making $95k. What salary increase can I expect for cost of living if I move to San Francisco?

Is 128k a fair base salary for Consultant in Deloitte Analytics & Cognitive. MS CS and about 3 yrs experience. In one of the fastest growing but midtier tech cities in the US.

Do new PPEDD's all start at the same salary, or is everyone's base different? Like if you had an SM5 making $200K and one making $250K, and they both were promoted, would they both start at the same Partner comp?

Any audit folks at midsize and up firms (experienced senior and above only) looking for a role in accounting advisory/consulting at a small firm <100 people (completely remote), reach out to me. Busy season hours are approx 45/week. Comp starts around $105k

Asking for wife who's also in banking. If she got ~$100k in signing bonus in 2019 for 1 year commitment in CA and started FT in July 2020, assuming she leaves before July 2021, can her employer claw back full amount in California? Some say it's much tougher to do so under CA law but wonder if anyone has any insights. Banks won't likely care about analyst signing bonuses, but associate bonus at EB with diversity bonus can be significant. If she quits before, she won't be going to another bank.

Considering an EY FSO Advisory Senior Consultant position in LA/SF offices. Anyone have any idea of salary ranges for such a role? I'm thinking in the 110k range.

How is SAP SDC for SAP Consultants?
I have offers from CG, IBM & SAP India. So, please suggest which will be better to join.
PS- IBM is paying100% more than my current organisation.
SAP has not released my offer yet but I had an interview with VP and he said he is impressed with me and will release the offer letter soon but they have not negotiated for my salary. Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options? Interesting all the noise about these PPT, my take:

The pandemic took all the upside of an IB analyst life (client meetings in person, fancy trips, suit up, worshiped at networking events) and left all the juniors with the downside (long hours, monkey-like type of job, aggressive work environment).

Not that the complaints are not sort of legitimate but you may need to revise the decision-making process that led you to accept a return offer. Specially if you were looking for less hours.

Struggling to feel fulfilled in this job. Thinking of making a career move to skilled trades. Torn though since I put so much effort into a master’s degree/CPA exam already. Thoughts?
