Or it means no one hires outright and they are struggling to get a full time position. Relax.
It means they just graduated and they have six internships and think they deserve 75K
I don’t understand what this means
Oh no! That’s really unfair. I’d suggest 1) take internships at bigger companies if possible (from my experience, a smaller company might need the help of an intern but not be able to hire; and even without being hired, a bigger one might have more weight on a resume), 2) in the interview (and some may disagree) ask what traits interns who’ve gotten hired after their internships have had in the past. Asking about being able to turn an internship into a job may hurt your chances of getting the internship, but 11 in, it's more important to get one that could turn into a job
I think that makes a lot of sense, and I hadn’t really thought of that second point. Thanks CW1 👊🏻
My pal at SRF gets me...lol sorry for not being clear, y’all but seemingly nobody these days offers anything even with a whispering of permanence
I’m on my 11th internship of my career, FWIW
