I work at a boutique (currently ~14 bankers and 10 back office roles).

Joined in august. Since august, 3 senior bankers (MD / VP) 1 HR director, and now 2 analysts have left for great opportunities. To be honest I’m happy and like my role, plus it’s too early to think about switching firms already.

I am now the only analyst left, we have another one joining in January. Any advice on how I can leverage this for comp discussions at the end of the year?

Can anyone share what the comp structure looks like for a Director at AmerisourceBergen? Do they provide equity at the Director level? Any insight would be helpful!

Salary ranges for group strategy director role?

In interview process with EYP in the TRS group and was wondering what I could negotiate for director salary. Had 2 interviews that went well and was told there would be 3 total. Any insight would be appreciated!

I’m an aspiring art director and working on my portfolio for junior gigs/ internships. For each project in my portfolio I create 2/3 executions over platforms for instance TVC/Social/ print. There’s one project I created recently for a comp I didn’t win, but thought it would be good to include anyway. However, it’s only a poster design for the brief ( I created 3 poster variations). Should I include this in my portfolio as a single project or create an area more for short briefs/graphic design?

How do you interpret “Years of experience“ in salary surveys and reports?
Here’s an example. Does a Creative Director with 7+ yrs of experience have 7+ yrs in the role of a Creative Director? Or does that 7 yrs include their work as a Senior Designer?

Advised to leave EY based on belief I accepted too low comp. Excited for opp to join Big 4, I accepted $90K S3. I have 11YOE at agency Senior Director level advising global MARTECH delivery for Fortune 500 clients. (Not previous Big 4) Advice was jump ship to firm that will compensate my experience and then return at higher level if I choose to boomerang. I’ve never been a jumper but also don’t want to be a fool and waste 2-3 years working for promotion that I am already qualified. Advice?

Recently got an internal promotion to Assoc. Strat director and thinking I got shafted on compensation. What’s the going rate for NYC these days? 7 years experience, 5 in pharma. 135-140k?

1st year EM. Got offer for corporate strategy/transformation lead (reporting to Director). $260k base + bonus. Is this good? I feel like a bit low, but they said it was max what they could offer. Thanks!

I left PA earlier this year for a manager level financial reporting role. It was a lateral move but would’ve been up for senior manager promo in July had I stayed in PA. I was approached with another opportunity as Sr Manager Financial Reporting at a public company for $150k and 20% bonus with a clear path to director in time. 8 YOE and live in FL. I’m trying to get an idea if this is in line with market. TIA!

I moved to the industry recently (Director at Pharma) and everyone’s been advising me to think early about moving up the ladder and where I want to move within the organization. Do I have the option to just remain in my role long term? Will it be perceived negatively? I enjoy my role and am happy with comp, don’t see the need to angle for a promotion unless an obvious opportunity arises.

In final stages of Director, Strat Initiatives role for a MF-owned portco. Goal for portco is to IPO in 18 months. They want to give me post-IPO equity as part of comp package.
