Has anyone interviewed & received an offer from NY Life for a VP strategy & consulting role? I've seen job postings and trying to figure out salary range before applying. Glassdoor indicates $110-225k and LinkedIn range was $150-290k so too big to be helpful

Former colleague received this offer: VP role; 265K base; 45% bonus; 30K cash sign on bonus; 100K RSU award at signing; 100K RSUs annually; Midwest location - technology consulting. Thoughts on this?

Exiting to industry for a Corp Strategy Role. Company is deciding between Senior Director or VP levels for title, but pay won’t be too differentiated. Role is to run the company’s strategy group. Company is ~$1Bn revenue sized in tier 2 city. $200k base, 30% bonus and 20%-40% equity that takes 2 years to vest. Should I push for the higher title? Been researching for a LONG time but can’t come to a convincing conclusion. Peers seem to believe PE pays more than IB at most levels. Obviously it depends on the size fund, etc. so for comparison sake, let’s take a rough Aso I salary at my industry specific boutique (~300k TC). Will MM / UMM funds (<$5B AUM) typically pay more for an Aso I? How about for VP I (~500k TC at my bank)? Comp guides seem to suggest that funds don’t pay much more, but my peers consistently think otherwise. Is it hype?

SAP has not released my offer yet but I had an interview with VP and he said he is impressed with me and will release the offer letter soon but they have not negotiated for my salary. But he was saying if he will give me less than IBM then will I join the SAP or not? I assumed this is a trick ques., btw, I said yes
