Did you have to upgrade your home network when you started WFH or any other at home office expenses like that? I ended up buying a ton of equipment and getting a standing desk etc. Don't think I'm going to be reimbursed, and I don't think that's fair as things like internet were critical to job function. Anyone else?

What’s reasonable to ask for in setting up my home office? I’m starting a new in house role that is permanently fully remote and I really don’t have a good office set up at home. I want to ask the company to send an electronic adjustable stand up desk, a new office chair, a printer/scanner, and a good headset for calls. This seems fair to me since they don’t have to provide me with office space. But I thought I’d ask the group. What have you asked for and received as far as working from home?

I started having wrist pain in the fall and it has flared up a lot recently. My PCP and a hand surgeon both said they had no idea what it was, since the location of pain was inconsistent.

Fuck this. After having put the kids to bed, I’m working till late finishing up a proposal and deck in my ‘home office’ after a nearly 70-hour work week (and it’s only Thursday).

All I want is to be back at a club with my team pre-COVID; standing on the dance floor with a drink in one hand, buzzed, speech slurred, sweat on my brow, ready for the last song of the night to come on. And for that song to be Sweet Child of Mine.

What is your home office set up like? Interested in buying a monitor (34 inches?) and wondering if it is the right choice.
