Fuck this. After having put the kids to bed, I’m working till late finishing up a proposal and deck in my ‘home office’ after a nearly 70-hour work week (and it’s only Thursday).

All I want is to be back at a club with my team pre-COVID; standing on the dance floor with a drink in one hand, buzzed, speech slurred, sweat on my brow, ready for the last song of the night to come on. And for that song to be Sweet Child of Mine.

Almost midnight here and I'm cleaning my medicine cabinet so I can reboot having a regular skin-care routine. I'm listening to one of my favorite musicals, "Ragtime", specifically the song "He Wanted to Say". Living 9 time zones away from home out of the US and watching the BLM movement there, unable to do anything concrete about it from here - this song I've listened to countless times, today about brought me to tears.

My mother in law got scammed by a con artist from the UK online and lost $7K (damn you Facebook!)

Her status in the US is currently complicated and she doesn’t have a green card(tho she’s working on it), my wife(her daughter) is American.

I want to report this to the FBI’s elder fraud department but I don’t want to complicate her situation even more.

I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Does anyone feel like they don’t want to go back to normal? On the one hand, absolutely I want to. I miss seeing friends, dressing up, going out, and traveling for work.
