I’m a senior sales person that just left my first job (where I was ranked top 10% in sales, worked for 5 years, qualified for presidents club 3 times & was very well known & respected) for a new company that will definitely be better, but I am starting over. Also, working from home for the first time (last job deemed “essential”).
What are some things you all have done to stay motivated during the climb of starting over? Also when learning to work from home?
I connected with a partner at a commercial real estate company about my career pivot & this company having a potential position for me. What are some good questions I should ask when meeting people in high positions like this? I wana take advantage of this connection to get the job I’m dreaming of

How do you know your value? Throughout my 10 yrs of being in a professional setting, I've had colleagues from various places of employment say, I don't think you know your worth. You're under valued, etc. What exercises/tools have helped you realize your worth and effectively advocate for it? TIA!

Anyone in the EdTech field? Previous role was roughly 4 years as an enrollment advisor for an EdTech OPM. Looking to stay in Higher Ed or K-12 sales. Looking to see if there are any referrals that could be made as I would love to stick with a sales role. Any SDR, BDR, AE roles would be greatly appreciated.

I have no previous experience with sales, but I did really well at first. In my first two months I was at the top of my sales team, and one of the top performers in the national sales org for dials/arr.
I hit a block, and now I can't seem to get passes at all. My effort hasn't changed. But I can't get meetings scheduled.
Has anyone experienced hitting a block like this? How do you overcome it?

Anyone else have really selfish thoughts sometimes and then feel very guilty about it? Just me?
My team runs fairly technical, hands-on POCs that last 2-3 weeks and we do a lot in parallel. We’re often in back-to-back meetings, generally pretty slammed, and we’re trying to figure out the right balance of diligence, autonomy, insight around managing them. We’ve experimented with Trello and Asana, but haven’t felt a good effort:value ratio yet. Salesforce feels too heavy and cluttered. Back to basics, but is there a tool or process you love that actually empowers your work?
