Really curious, what percentage of your clientele is friends/family?

Hello everyone! How do you manage holiday pay when the holiday is on a Saturday/ Sunday. For example, if I have someone working on Christmas (Sunday), they should be paid 1.5 but what if they work on Monday as well?I know this might sound silly to some people but I’m covering for payroll for the holidays and I don’t want to mess up!

Hello fishes, is it a red flag when I'm the ONLY one on my team who's happy with the management, meaning my boss and my boss's boss? Other than the two bosses, we have 6.

I recently learned from 3 different employees that left (voluntarily) they were making 98-105k. They were outside candidates and were all hired within the last year and for the same position, and same regional territory. I have worked for the company 3+ years and went from a core position, to large loss. I was given a 10k raise putting me around 78k. Yes.... some of these individuals have Lardge Losss experience but does that really make a 20-25k difference? Any advise!?

I’m feeling stagnant in my career and looking for ways to grow. I was considering obtaining a PMP certification and wondering how impactful this is. Is this certification well recognized?

Has anyone successfully moved out of claims into underwriting? I have been doing worker’s compensation claims for about 9 years now as an adjuster. I would really like to get into underwriting but have not had any success so far. What are some other roles I can transition to?

Any input on job offerings I’ve received. Morgan Stanley CRU risk officer pay is $70k with a less than 10% bonus. And KeyBank position is a private client advisor pay is $67k but bonus can range from $10k -$25k depending on performance and other compensation factors. Currently a Investment Consiltant at WFA making $62k with a $7k bonus. Both are in office positions in SLC, UT. TIA

I relocated with my family to Ireland recently, one month ago, and while I got a lot of screening calls with recruiters, I did not hear back from any of them after our interview. I am still on the process of getting my work permit and I am very clear about this during the interviews, but I suspect that this is the reason why I am not getting any call back. Any tips on the first screening call with recruiters? Should I touch base with them after our interviews?

So, now I want to shift to a product based startup or mid level company in React JS technology for which I have already started preparation separately. I'm lateraling to another firm because frankly I think the management of this one is terrible, but the people (and individual partners) I actually work with are awesome. I've only been here for about 18 months, so I imagine that short time frame will make it extra awkward 😬

No matter how much and how hard I try organize my day, stuff just pops out of nowhere all the time and I end up stuck at my desk until midnight almost every single day.

I feel inadequate and unsure of how or if to acknowledge the US/Buffalo racist murders and terrorism of this weekend in the workplace. I don’t want to do disservice or unintentionally further traumatize anyone. I know my Black colleagues are traumatized. I am horrified. And yet we just have our meetings and I guess compartmentalize it away.
