How many of you have actually read the entire handbook? How long was it? What was the hardest or easiest part of the handbook for you?
Hello live in LA anyone looking for a National Sales Manager. Am in the staffing employment industry. Thank you,
Do seasoned enterprise reps actually think that MEDDIC helps the sales process? This is coming from the perspective that champions are undervalued and the economic buyer in a F500 company does not usually speak with vendors. The market here is developer tooling. Curious to hear thoughts as many sales leaders use MEDDIC as an inspection tool to manage sales reps with little practical value for deals.
What does Sales Enablement mean to you? Does anyone here work in some type of Sales Enablement roll currently?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a years of service awards vendor? We are looking to move to an online catalog where our employees can pick the gift they want. Thanks in advance!
What HR ticketing system do you use and what important aspects did you consider when looking? Our company is looking into ticketing systems and this will be our first time looking. Right now I’ve seen Zendesk, Workday and Happy Fox. Has anyone sued those before?
I recently moved to a new company. As I get access to all the systems, I noticed that I have access to HR function (peers, managers) data within the HRIS system and other sources. I am not planning to look at the data but I'm concerned that peers can see my compensation, etc., if I can see theirs. At the company I came from, HR data was extremely safeguarded and restrictive within our systems. Is this something I should bring up to my manager?
I’m curious if anyone knows of any NY or NYC laws around requirements for an employer to employ a certain percentage of underrepresented minority groups? Would greatly appreciate any guidance here!
I'm in software sales, and pretty new to it. I like sales, and want a career in it, but I'm wondering what other industries have lucrative sales careers.
Does anyone have ideas on how to help local businesses during this time from a work perspective? Our engagement committee thought of buying gift cards and somehow incorporating ways to give back but our matching gift program applies to organizations that are only IRS tax exempt. I am trying to find a way that the company can help with giving back to local business. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
One of my executives thinks he is being endearing by calling women "Baby" "Gorgeous" "Sweetie" and he calls men "handsome". I have had multiple complaints against him from female employees and vendors. Does anyone know of any good training courses or advice that can help in this scenario?
Actively seeking a new opportunity and I am slowly starting to feel discouraged due to lack of response. Anyone else having issues searching for employment right now?
Does your company allow you to give reference for current employees and/or post recommendations on LinkedIn? (Our company has a policy against giving references or recommendations for LinkedIn or for someone applying to jobs elsewhere)
Thoughts on Dentsu Aegis? I've received an offer for a role (promotion) and thinking about whether it is a sound move - especially in this environment. They went through furloughs and pay cuts in April due to COVID. I'd be making the move from EY which is a great company to work with - but there is such a long line up to get a promotion, and for roles I've interviewed for internally I get the good ole - you were awesome and it was rly close, but someone was just a better fit.
To those out there who have had student loans- how much should one be saving each month while also trying to pay off debt ASAP? I have my emergency bucket if needed but what about after that?
I am usually very expressive and one colleague often mimics me.. It’s very playful and I don’t think he means any harm but it’s getting annoying. Should I tell him to stop?
Google 🐠: have on-site interviews in a few weeks, and was told to wear “a step above business casual.” What does this mean for ladies?
Exit justifications aside, what do you think is a reasonable length of staying in a company to avoid appear as jumpy? (for someone around late twenties)
Have a technical engineering background, and have been in a functional role for past year or so. Will it be difficult to go into a more technical role? My fear is exiting with no true hard skills
No matter what, when asked how it's going... "everything is great!" Even when it's 3 am and room service is delivering your 2nd full pot of coffee... 🤥
Maybe a dumb question but when it comes to stock based comp, can the vesting start date be before the grant date? Or has client made an error since that is the case
I was laid off almost a month ago and today I got an email from USCIS saying “we received correspondence for Form I-129, Petition for non immigrant worker” What does this mean?
Best tips for working harder and more efficiently / strategically within the same hours? Lately it feels like I’m always reacting, running between meetings, no support or oversight on my accounts.
Now that we’ve been in this wfh situation a couple months, does anyone have tips or tricks for times they are feeling less motivated or productive? I find that I work best while in a team environment or in the office, so there have definitely been days where it’s hard to get into a focused work mode while at home.
Trying to get noticed in a stack of online resumes by a large firm... does consulting at Huron get any traction in the larger management consulting firms? No luck so far.
anyone who cleared this stage..how much time it took for you to get prevailing wage determination (PWD) from DOL and what is its expiry tenure?

Is it worth watching the Becker lectures? I feel like it might be better taking the notes without lecture, reading, then doing MCQ. Thoughts?
For those looking for a distraction right now, I'm reading "Normal People" by Sally Rooney. No medicine, just an excellent story about love and life
