So many posts about how shitty everyone’s advertising jobs are. For perspective, what did everyone do before advertising then?
While we talk shit, Vaynerchuk is on his yacht, tossing fresh shrimp into his mouth, sipping his own wine, reading through the comments about him on Fishbowl and laughing hysterically.
Has anyone landed their dream job? Has anyone landed their dream job and realized it was anything but?
I’ve emailed this one agency a few times looking to just connect with someone about potential employment. Maybe I suck that bad? Should I just walk in the front door and ask?

What’s the right level and comp range for biz ops role in FAANG with 3 years at MBB, 2 years in PE, and top undergrad (if that matters?). Offer at unicorn: $160k cash, $250k options 4 year vesting (based on current valuation less strike price... but still paper money)
