Anyone know hiring tech companies in Utah? Im early in my career (3 years) of e-commerce account management and looking to find a long term company. Sounds like tech sales is one of the best options. Thanks!
I’m a young professional with 3 years of Sales experience seeking advice on how to find meaning in being a salesperson anymore? Starting to feel like this isn’t rewarding or “essential”. If you’ve felt this way before what did you do?
Looking at a move into tech sales, most likely initially SDR roles (due to no experience in tech before) does anyone have any input into particular companies or IT sectors with good future growth potential? I'm suspecting blockchain or AI?
SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.
Best/most prestigious companies to sell for? I’m a soon-to-be new college grad and feeling uncertain about where I should look.
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Advice- My team were all given a raise in March except me. I brought it up to my manager who recently started. First reaction was I am still new and a raise wasn’t warranted. I told him 2 other recruiters on my team started when I did. He said he would need to look into it. Today he told me 3 of my HM’s don’t feel supported (despite having the 2nd most hires) and I could either resign or go on a PIP. I’m the only minority on my team have double the req load and supporting the most dept.
I have my 90 day review coming up and I’m unsure if my wage is going to be reviewed and increased. If my manager doesn’t bring it up and I think I’m worthy, how should I approach asking for a raise. As a bit of history I was told at my interview that wage is reevaluated at 90 days, 6 months, and annually.
Been in biz dev/inside sales for ~3 years. Looking to make a career change to less customer facing roles. Seems like I’m not qualified for anything else. Any recommendations on other career routes?
Hi! Are any of you SDRs at HashiCorp, Inc. (Austin location)? Do you like working there? How's the starting pay? Opportunities to grow?
Work BURNOUT… LET’S TALK ABOUT IT. So a little back story. I am 38 a full full time single mom. I work about 60 hours per week. I do not get child support. My employer currently expects me to bring in 15 new customers & 100 existing every month… minimum. I have realized with my upcoming paid time off that I am burnt out. I recently have had no motivation to produce because I so desperately need a break. I sell internet and am the 2nd top producing rep in the region. Opinions to get my mojo back.
Taking the SHRM CP exam in July - signed up mid May, a lot of info for what seems like a short period of time, any tips for studying?
When you’re interviewing for a new job, how do you balance sharing your professional experience against the sensitivity of items that HR handles? If the interviewer didn’t know my current company it would feel different, but since they do know I’m concerned about “over sharing” - ex. saying attrition is a problem at anonymous company and this is how we’re addressing it feels different than saying attrition is a problem at X company. Does that make sense? Am I over thinking this?
Hi mommies. Any bra recommendation for someone who has really big breasts? Does anyone here have experience with getting fitted at Nordstrom in NYC? I’ve done it in Seattle and SFO before and it was good. But haven’t heard good thing about the NYC store. Would love to hear recommendations from you.
Accounting controllers in Ohio, are y’all okay? $26,000 for a supervising CPA, what in the actual tarnation!
My recruiter told me I️ would be hired as an FTE after 3 months now they keep extending me month by month & the instability of not having health benefits makes me feel extremely anxious. I️ initially wasn’t interested in contract jobs but thought it would be a good opportunity for my career. Im thinking of sticking around but also debating looking for a new opportunity w/ more stability/clarity. Any advice? Open to anything, preferably a proposal/project coordinator role if anyone is hiring
Hey! Any pointers on how to present “strategies on merging two major banks contact centers” I’m preparing for an interview where they asked me to present this in 5 slides. Any articles I can look up? Any specific issues that I can address?
Thanks in advance!
Hi All , Can you recommend ways to start socialising or meet ups to connect with like minded people. Its more than 4 months since I am in London but havent been able to make friends or a group
What’s Centene’s reputation to the outside world? You can be honest. I understand the overall distain for health insurance companies in general. I’ve been experiencing a lot of internal conflict after surviving 2 acquisitions in 4 years, most recently by Centene. All it took was 1 Google search to make me start questioning everything.
I’ve been on the pill for 15 years and learned that it’s less effective after this long period of time and was recommended an IUD. I’m scared of the pain at insertion + I got on the pill for my acne and am scared it will come back if I make the switch. Anyone had similar concerns? How’s it going?

Any recommendations on charity for COVID in India? Do not want to send money to bigger NGOs but rather want to help smaller groups who are making direct impact.
My SO wants to be a CFO someday... he's working hard towards it but i worry it means he'll never have any more time for us than he has now. Has anyone experience with someone like this?
