Hey team, I am wondering if there is anyone that is willing to refer me for a position at Optiver Sydney? Please let me know if you are willing to chat about it! I feel kind of weird asking a stranger for a referral so it would be great to chat first. (It is a Data Scientist role and I used to be a Trader). Thanks!

Hi is anyone willing to explain to me what HR Strategy entails for an associate? Are hours long? Work stressful? How’re the exit ops?
I currently work for a not for profit in Australia, but have recently realised there is no room for career progression at my organisation (I was hired as an admin and was promoted to TA within two months but that's about as far as this organisation can take me). I have no qualifications in HR but was hoping my experience would get me a position in another company with growth opportunity.
What would be the best way to make a move?
Anyone have any advice on how to break into customer success? I've been a BDR for over 2 years now, and I've learned a lot from that role. My next step I feel is a CSM or CSA. I am more of a farmer than a hunter and I'm very customer-centric. I find my strengths are in CS but it seems like you need experience within CS to break into CS. Any tips or referrals? Thanks!
Solid ties except Ferragamo and Hermes? (If your tie < $100, please move on to next thread)
So apparently 'you look tired' = you need to put on make up / you look ugly. How many women actually agree to that because guys certainly don't react negatively to that; usually a sign of concern
I’m trying to get certified for Workday HCM but it seems impossible when you don’t work with a company that uses this system. Any ideas of how I can get my foot in the door? Any other HCM systems that offer career-developing certs?
Does anyone have a name for what I'm looking for? Essentially, I'm looking for a resource to give to clients that really need to assess their current benefits and pay structure (and pay equity) in comparison to other organizations in the market and to provide the results and a roadmap of how to get where they need to be in order to retain and attract talent. Something like an HR Turnaround Consultant but I'm sure there is a better name?
Ever feel disadvantaged by being the "new guy" at the office?
You're not alone: over 70% of new hires feel this way.
What if I told you it's your best launch pad for success?
I'm about to tell you why you have the absolute advantage.
Every disadvantage has its advantage.

You may need to familiarize yourself with the software or the company's processes.
You may need to get used to how your new team works
I have started my career in SaaS sales and currently work ex of just 1.5 years. I'm confused that to grow, should I start searching for an SDR role in an early stage startup or look for an MNC? I feel my growth in current role has been shunted and going nowhere
I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.

I am looking for a reference in the field of Data science. I have prior experience in python, SQL, machine learning and tableau, currently I am working with EY and not at all allined to any of my skill set which is making me more frustrated.

I miss my toyboy 😢
My 1 year old seems seems to prefer my partner when it comes to comforting her. She also shows him more affection. He takes her when she wakes up in the mornings and I know it’s kind of a cuddly time (which I miss out on) but quite bummed about this… when she was more of an infant she only wanted me. Hoping it’s a phase…
