I need advice : My Manager wants to Propose to me a new work schedule for shifts where I only work in a fixed day shift , because I argued that Night Shifts gives me health complications as I don’t get enough sleep almost none at all during those weeks with Night shifts. Even though his proposal is attractive in a way I don’t want to throw away the amount of extra income I get from the shift rotation., which I highly need. How do I refuse this offer politely and smartly?

EY raises and PBB so far have been in line with past few years. So much for the “this time it’s different” hype. Time to jump ships and get additional 15-20% raise

1st year post-mba realizing a meaningful part of the job is saying you were wrong without actually admitting fault or saying that you’re wrong lol. My go-to euphemisms enclosed. Let me know yours :)

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

I contribute 25% to my workplace retirement acct. when I get paid, I apply a lump sum to my student loans or other debt. With the leftover, I’m having trouble coming up with a monthly investing plan. I have a Roth IRA and will max for 2022 (VT/VTI). I fund a rollover IRA+brokerage, no traditional IRA. Any thoughts, ideas?

Offering advice to job seekers who go around recruiters and message hiring teams, execs, etc. You are putting the Recruiters job in danger. If a Recruiter declines you or doesn’t choose to reach out, it is because the hiring team declined you, or you don’t have the experience. You will most likely not be considered for future roles because of this. When I see people giving advice to reach outside the Recruiter, it’s bad advice. Very rare is this a good idea.

I have cleared CTS interview and have asked for 21lpa with 6 yoe in automation testing. Do they give that much with the yoe I have ?

Manager has informed my visa process has been put on hold by client due to some billing restructuring (no performance issue). The process was running from nearly 4-5 months and I haven't asked for compensation revise yet which i wanted to. What should i do now feeling so confused because they have said they can't even confirm if it'll resume or not stating it's client decision. Working tirelessly from last year for this and now they have backed just 10 days before interview. How to handle this?
