What's the FSI strategy team like at KPMG?

Associates: Do you feel like MDs are receptive and open to your suggestions and feedback? Mine tends to shut them down or ignore them entirely.

My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?

Joined LTI recently in P3 band. However not allocated any project. Got a call from the resource management team to relocate, which I rejected upfront as I was promised a role in the location I am posted. It has been over 2 weeks since I am in bench. What shall be the next steps, shall I wait for some days or start looking for other jobs as getting a project looks difficult as there are minimalist responses.

Interested in working in PE, but experiences align more with the Ops side (3 YOE in strategic value creation). Is there a significant difference in total comp potential between ops and investments roles? Not sure how to make a case to break into investments with minimal DD experience, so thinking about Ops recruitment (Associate). Would also be grateful to learn about potential strategies non-DD focused consultants have used to ultimately break into investment teams.

Any suggests on wording or verbiage for accepting an offer with another company that states it’s too late in the year to be considered for a merit raise the upcoming year also not eligible for a prorated bonus due to being hired late in the year?
