One of my executives thinks he is being endearing by calling women "Baby" "Gorgeous" "Sweetie" and he calls men "handsome". I have had multiple complaints against him from female employees and vendors. Does anyone know of any good training courses or advice that can help in this scenario?
I’m not happy where I’m at, my abilities aren’t being maximized as I’m spread thin, and I know I’m being undervalued. Recently graduated and in property management w/ 3-4 years sales experience. Currently on the hunt for Sales/Account Management roles leaning more towards consumer goods, then tech. Any advice?

Are you folks happy with your decision to make a career in sales? I’m young working in tech sales, but also have my bachelors in psychology, and could see my self happily going for my masters maybe even PHD and being a counselor.
For those in b2b sales how are your orders placed most? Online, customer service or sales reps?
I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.
I’m looking for a screening tool that will assess a candidate’s proficiency with MS-Teams. Would anyone know if there is such a thing that exists?
Looking for a Copy Supervisor for our NJ team! Feel free to reach out if interested or apply below. workforcenow.adp.com/mascsr/default/mdf/recruitment/recruitment.html?cid=125a4952-3822-461d-b9d1-9d37079f32f7&jobId=381997&lang=en_US&source=CC2
I’m mid-level in my HR career at my current company and an upcoming Master’s graduate. Studying for my SHRM-CP too. How did you make the transition to that next level? What skills do you need, or is it really just based on YOE (I am the youngest compared to my teammates, many who have 10+ YOE)? I feel like career pathing is not very clear at my company. Each time I ask for guidance on this from my manager, I get told they’ll look into it.... would love some external mentorship and thoughts 🙏🏼
I’m looking for an outside sales rep in Milwaukee for a SaaS company. My top rep last year cleared $800k before stock. If you know of anyone or think you’re a good fit, let me know!
To hr professionals in finance..I’m considering getting an online certificate through Cornell in data/analytics. Worth it or do employers think it’s equivalent to Coursera?
You’re constantly showing up for everyone else, but who’s showing up for you? I started an initiative to coach HR/people leaders because I know what it’s like to be doing all the things for everyone else with little support or focus on your own well-being, growth and development. It’s a lonely game! I’d be delighted to create the space to make you a priority. Would love to offer a free session, or simply connect: https://www.chrisrollins.me/peopleleaders.
Anyone here a member of Revenue Collective? Is it worth it? What kind of value have you gotten out of it if so? Thanks!
As a company we are looking at going digital with our employee personnel and medical files etc. What are some of the ways you have done that? Any advice/recommended process?
Is your organization planning to require employees be vaccinated? I understand why management wants this but concerned about losing good employees because they don’t believe in vaccination or are wanting to wait until more people have been vaccinated to see if there are issues with it. I’m also concerned with moral if we require this. Employees may get it to keep there job but hold on to some bitterness or develop anxiety over it. Am I being too soft or over analyzing?
Has anyone taken the PHR exam lately? What was the best test prep IYO? Online on demand , online live classes? Are the practice exams worth the cost?
Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)
Thinking of relocating out of the Chicago area to begin to subtle down. Does anyone have recommendations on states/areas to move to for cloud engineers/consultant that work from home?
PwC comp increases this year are insane!!!
I believe I have found a method to show that you are not away in Teams. Click on your icon in the upper right corner, edit your status to custom status, type something and save.
I’m a C up for promo next year (2022) and just found out I’m pregnant and terrified this will impact my career in Consulting. I noticed so many female M/SM don’t have kids. Any advice is welcomed. Husband is ecstatic but why am I not happy..just a ton of anxiety.
What would you do in this scenario? Been working with a recruiter for a lateral to a big law firm. Went through three rounds of interviews, lateral questionnaire and conflict check. Then, recruiter indicates good news (offer) is coming by email soon. She also indicated they are calling references. She gets good feedback and then, indicated they want a partner rec. Sadly, most of the firms I left were pissed when I quit because they took it personally. Not unusual since they were boutique firms..
I’m heading to NYC for a client and my partner is coming with. Anyone have any recommendations on restaurants and bars to go to?
How do you tell your admin that how they talk to you isn’t okay with you (condescending and rude) without making it worse?
This is a query regarding a course. I am currently enrolled in PGP Data Science and Business Analytics offered by Great Learning (Great Lakes Institute of Management) and University of Texas, Austin. It's completely online and 11 months. Is this course equivalent to a Masters/ MBA? Do recruiters consider this course as a valid one?
Is there any advice for networking into projects when you don’t know many people at the firm yet? I always to help on BD work when I’m on the bench, but it never turns into any billable work. Every time I have talked to a partner/senior manager I was told I don’t have the skill set they’re looking for, but I don’t know how to build up from there. Feeing very lost but I want to improve my approach.
Not currently in BigLaw but looking to lateral to a remote securities/cap markets position (live in a secondary market) from a boutique. Non-traditional older associate, billed 2000 hours last year and received a 2.5% raise and $1,000 bonus (other associates received $20k). Performance was not terrible, but less supervision so definitely made mistakes. Now finding out I am undervalued after getting interest from firms in the range of 50-60% more than my current salary. Anyone hiring?
Anyone here got first H1B stamping done in Canada? No time for India trip. On J visa if that matters.
Anyone at Deloitte able to shed some light on the “Digital Controllership” practice? Curious about the type of work, culture, and comp…
Morning everyone, looking for advice on career. About me- 25YO, 2YOE, $110TC (not including bonus), work experience mix of revenue growth, corp strategy, data led business optimisation, project management. I’m considering an MBA from a top tier uni (Aus) as an avenue for opening up next level of positions as I’m keen to move into management. Would love to hear thoughts from experienced and senior people on my position and what you’d recommend to advance. Cheers!
How much can you ethically alter your title on your resume? My firm is struggling and moving many consultants to “customer success.” I’m worried I won’t get interviews after the title change. 1YOE
Legacy OTS here, I still can’t name one advantage from a personal level that I got out of this whole integration with Parthenon. Basically I didn’t get a raise, I can’t apply to any rotation program due to my level, there’s immense confusion, don’t work with my “new” legacy P colleagues who think they are better than us. How was your experience, Thoughts?
Analytics folks - could any of you recommend a classroom based training as primer in python / data science? Have a research and analytical background but not a quant and don’t code much.
Hola, Bon jours, Namaste, Ciao!! I am a bilingual teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area and I thought it would be fun to start a bilingual teachers' group so we can all share our ideas and expertise!

And is partner and sr director role same? 2) what’s the path to partner like or next level like at Cap? 3) asking for a 25% base pay hike but also keen on waiting for aug 9 comp statement.
