Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

I wish I could bill for the time that I spend being anxious about the work that I have to do 😩

Anyone else having one of those days where you just can’t seem to do anything right? I’m dropping balls left and right here

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I’ve been in tech sales for 20+ years. Have an opportunity to take a position at a tech company in Sales Enablement. Anyone have some insight into this type of role? Is it interesting, challenging, collaborative?
Thinking about coaching others in sales could be fun for me at this stage.

Hi 👋🏻 Would love some support here - looking to build out a bonus structure for a Sales Engagement Mgr role - it isn't a typical sales role - this person will be closing deals but not necessarily securing leads. If they will be scoring leads, it will be organic via conferences, partnerships. Of course, we want to encourage and incentivize this person. Potentially giving then an extra 20-50k bonus potential. Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?

Anyone invest in franchises and in particular has anyone used a company called FranChoice to help you match w a franchise?

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

I have mostly passive investments. I was thinking the other day: what if everyone had only passive investments? Wouldn’t this create incredibly high amount of systemic risk? Are we all sheep??
