Ive accepted an offer going from a SM role to M role at EY in the CCas team , London office. Can anyone confirm how often one needs to come into the office, as my commute is from Hampshire . In my current role I rarely go to the office, i.e once every few months (also in London) and am considering backing out due to the additional commuting cost and less flexible work life balance.

Had a baby recently with some health issues which has prompted me to reevaluate my big firm associate life and consider in house. The issue is, I’m thinking of leaving right after/during maternity leave and feel very guilty. Do you think I should explain myself or just say I found another opportunity? Lately, I've been hearing a lot from my peers about how sales isn't a real profession.
I work at a tech startup and it mostly comprises developers. They can't stop emphasizing their importance in the food chain and I can't figure if I'm too humble or they're too arrogant.
This yapping comes from people I've known since college. I have successfully blocked all such negativity but wanted to know if anyone here has faced such scenarios.
