Will Workday be more or less relevant to you in a few years? My org is looking at adopting Workday for HR and some FP&A purposes. We try to be a forward looking org and only adopt things that will be relevant a few years down the road. We've heard mixed things about Workday and I just want to hear from those that use it what you think. Will it be more or less relevant to your org a few years from now?
How many of you have actually read the entire handbook? How long was it? What was the hardest or easiest part of the handbook for you?
What’s your favorite piece of sales related software your company uses, and which is your least favorite?
How do your companies recognize technical (e.g., STEM) accomplishments? I’ve heard of old school things like fellowships and “Distinguished Engineer” titles. Wondering what other places do now. I’m struggling to see where my path leads if I don’t want to be a people manager and instead focus on becoming a top technical IC instead. Are there clear paths for that anymore?
I’m planning to buy the study materials for the SHRM-CP certificate through Amazon. What are the best ones to obtain?
What do you include at the end of an online application? Is it necessary to include FCRA rights, an EoE clause, etc., or is it okay to remove this information and include it in the job posting/advertisement?
Seeing a lot of posts about SDRs and concern over CTR and response rate. After a while you need to think about changing the medium, not the messaging.
We have a lot of inexperienced managers and leaders throughout the company. I wanted to propose bringing on a L&D leader who has experience creating long-term curriculums for managers and executives. For those that have a management training philosophy, who runs it and how often,m?
Hi, I recently move apartments and companies and I’m wondering if I’ll have to notify my old company of the move for them to ship my W2 to the right place. They used adp and my current company does too. Any help is appreciated!
What’s a good way to advocate for yourself as an employee? I struggle with how to make the work I’m completing/my efforts sound impactful.
We have a fixed PTO time plan (very generous) but leftover rates by now are enormous. It’s gonna be about 160 hours of unused PTO per employee in the end of the year, and we only rollover 80. We thought about rolling over everything, but then accruals get too high. Does anyone have creative ideas how we can roll over excessive hours and don’t make them wages at the same time...
Do seasoned enterprise reps actually think that MEDDIC helps the sales process? This is coming from the perspective that champions are undervalued and the economic buyer in a F500 company does not usually speak with vendors. The market here is developer tooling. Curious to hear thoughts as many sales leaders use MEDDIC as an inspection tool to manage sales reps with little practical value for deals.
How do Talent leaders run effective recruitment meetings? Do you focus on key metrics and priority roles? Are you doing anything else to hold others accountable? Would love to hear more!
What are your tips and tricks, go-to sites, etc. to stay up to date on the latest HR legal and compliance information?
Does the word “inclusion” do more harm than good? What if the panel we simply said “Diversity & Equity”? My thought here is that inclusion insinuates that anyone who isn’t in the “majority” needs to feel “included”, which could be somewhat off putting. Shouldn’t the goal be for everyone to feel equal instead of simply feeling included? I’d love to get some opinions on this!
What are some Diversity & Inclusion strategies to implement in the workplace ? Additionally, if you are starting a D&I committee internally, what are some key factors to consider?
Out of all the big 4 companies which is the best in terms of a IT work (tech assurance, cyber, ... etc) I know it defers by revenue or number of clients or growth. But any input would be great.
Looking to get MBA in a few years but also thinking about leaving the firm. Is it better to stay the course at PwC and go to school or switch to tech firm & differentiate my story?
RBG needs to stay out of the hospital, my stress levels can't take these spikes. Also, if I am as active as she is at her age- or at any age, really- it will be a small miracle
120k for a senior analyst role at a startup in Bay Area. Does it sound reasonable considering the high living cost?

Hey everyone, sorry about the n00b question, but what do you think are the best materials for GMAT prep? They can get pretty expensive and I just want to make sure I’m investing in the right spots. Also a friend lent me her set of Veritas books, but I’m wondering if that’s enough. 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks!!!
PwC moms — Just wondering, did the firm cut off service to your phone while you were out on maternity leave? Does anyone know what the official policy is there? I want to order a new phone, but (cont)
24, thankful to have my bachelors and masters, little debt...1st gen & trying to build my nest egg. However, I just feel so directionless/empty right now, in some ways. Accenture has not enabled me to explore several areas of interest in my first year, and I cannot see a long-term here. It is no time to pivot. Have considered a MD/PhD/MBA...know it’s in the future, but no idea what, when, or where. Just feeling like the days are passing and I’m just doing my best. Any thoughts?
Anyone recommend Orlando to buy a house and settle down? If yes, which neighbourhoods would you recommend? Good school district and descent Indian population for parents.
