What’s a fair salary increase after a year of inflation?

Am I the only one left at the end of the month trying to bill 10hour days to meet hours because I slacked off at the beginning of the month? It’s a vicious cycle. Then the end of the month hits and I’m so exhausted that I need to take it was the next week... and the cycle continues

Hello! Will be receiving a $400 stipend from my new org for office setup. I currently have a 15” 2015 Pro, my husband has a Lenovo, I’ll be provided with a work laptop, we have a used office desk.

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? When you look to choosing a position to apply for and lets assume you get to be choosy - will you go for a org with big HR team or smaller HR team? Currently an hrbp for a medium global org with 10 hrbps in the Americas org supporting different groups/ regions like i support canada and a business group - looking at a role where hrbp report to sr hrbp and she reports to Vp of HR. The TA Manager reports to the VP of Hr as well. Sounds like a smaller HR team - are there any benefits to this move?

My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?

I feel left out in my firm. How do I make 'friends' with my colleagues? I've been here for a year. I am naturally not a very out going person, was never 'cool' and I struggle to speak in group situations / make engaging conversation with higher ups. It is an important trait to have in this job and I just don't know how to do this. It makes me very upset - I even sought therapy but wasn't useful. Currently: 28k student loan, 12k left on car payments, 0 credit card debt. 27k in savings + 3k in checking, 10k in stocks. 766 credit score and opportunity to get VA mortgage as a vet (aka no penalty for no down payment) Is it a smart move to purchase a 2|2 (325k) in an upcoming neighborhood, plan on maybe getting a roommate although I could afford the mortgage alone, but to help put more money into loans? Or should I not buy a house right? Thoughts?
