Need some advice. My friend’s company is forcing them to work in the office while wearing a face mask for 9 hours a day. This has caused my friend to get migraines and experience physical pain above their nose, because they can't breathe. My friend needs the job but I’m worried for them. Is there anything they can do in their situation (besides quit)? They’ve already asked if they can work from home but their boss is unwavering and expects everyone to work from the office, even during a pandemic.

If you have cash that you want to invest. Please consider Treasury Series I Savings Bond (Electronic). Interest is 7.12% right now. While it's not guaranteed that the 7.12% will remain until next year, it's still a good deal.
My SO and I just invested 20k (10k max per person even married).

S&P 500 index fund. VOO or VTI
Furthest retirement target date fund
I wrote another reply in the main thread - can’t copy-paste on here.
But basically decide all of the assets you want to hold across all investment accounts and see if there are ones tag at make more sense in tax advantages account.
Personally I hold REIT ETFs in my Roth and ETFs of growth stocks, while I hold a lot of S&P 500 in my normal investment account along with some emerging market and other small things I want to personally support (clean energy ETF and cyber security).
I recommend a strategy like that ^
I also personally do a bit of options purchasing inside my Roth. If you’re going to do options trading, do it inside your Roth. In general though, I don’t recommend options trading.
100% VOO

Thought I’d opt for no bonds at your age
VOOG
If you want to be as passive as possible - totally reasonable - just buy VTI.
If you want to be a bit more active I’d consider buying a combination of VTI and some REIT ETF that pays a dividend since you don’t need to pay taxes on it within the Roth to diversify your total holding.
If you like to gamble a bit, could use some of the money to buy a few options. If you’re going to do it anywhere, do it in your Roth.
