Of the salary band, an should I expect any correction with new analysts bringing in $80k? Deloitte people, would love to hear opinions.
Post in the Deloitte bowl, but typically this is what happens when there are starting salary adjustments unfortunately
Nope no correction just because of the incoming analysts. But if you are a high performer you’ll get a good bump this year to probably 90-95k
Likely you won’t get a major adjustment until the SC promotion. However you will likely get larger raises at year end then the Consultants who are on the higher end of the band.
The deloitte bowl would have specific information about norms and such.
But the general advice about any salary question is:
1. Do your research on if there is a case for a raise/salary adjustment
2. Utilize your internal network to make your case
3. If above fails, see how much the market values you and be ready to leave
4 (optional). Leverage an external offer to a satisfactory raise. I never recommend this as I believe it's a major career limiting move, but others have recommended it and I'm sure it's worked for people.
Would be interested if others can chime in if #4 is a career limiting move.
How did you get promoted in 1yr? As former D, that's amazing
Ugh. Your success frustrates me, OP. Currently sitting at 92 as a Senior at K.
Regardless, congrats OP
