Hi Fishes, I recently joined Pwc AC and was informed to update my checkpoint portfolio where we update all our investments. If we have some investments and if we do not declare them, will it be a problem or can I update it as Nothing to report. Recently I joined here so I'm having some confusion regarding this.

Spoken like a true man. Lol. Y’all just don’t get it. That’s an empowering term we use to describe ourselves sometimes.
Outside of work - a place where you’re not responsible for someone else’s growth, pay, sanity - 100% agree - a woman that does it all is a boss. At work men and women should take gender out of the equation and help their employees - servant leadership

It reminds me of "you're strong for a girl," or "you're a good female lawyer." Nah, man. I'm strong and I'm a damn good lawyer.

I also thought this was because of the Netflix show/book?

#girlboss #bossbabe and to a lesser extent #bossbae are all huge sayings in the social media circles and in the general fluffy “girls empowerment” books, blogs, church groups and influencers, usually trying to sell you something. Superficial and generally without substance, yes. Especially for the bubblegum pop mercantile version of “women’s empowerment” which usually entails pushing weight loss shakes, scented wax melts, or a lifestyle blog.
However, it is the vernacular of the times, so if she’s under 40, then no, not surprised at all that she used it.

Because the default when ppl say boss is to think male, so you would never see a man brand himself that.
I can see branding yourself that outside of a work context if you buy into that stuff, it’s fun and very girl power but it doesn’t make sense at work because it’s seen as “immature” just like valley speak/vocal fry is looked down on.

She’s a boss. End of story. Why do we need a gender distinction. A boss is a boss. Gender should exist this conversation.

Kpmg is the first time I’ve experienced a bad female leader. She is not my leader. I won’t follow someone like that.,

I’ve had good and bad but KPMG is the first time I’ve experienced an absolutely exceptional female leader.

You gotta make the girl money first. Then when you get the girl money, you get the girl power. Then when you get the girl power, you get the girl... women. — Girl Boss Tony Montana
