A partner at my firm just invited me and my SO to dinner with him, his senior associate, and the senior associate’s SO. I’m fairly new to the firm, but I’m told the partner doesn’t do this often and he’s fairly private about his matters and clients. Could this be a sign he’s bringing me into the fold? Or something else? My apologies in advance for the naïve question. I’ve been to many “get to know you” lunches, but never dinner with spouses.
