A significant chunk of my team members are permanently leaving Seattle and still collecting Seattle pay checks. They are basically making a ton more now in terms of what's in their bank accounts, and I'm thinking maybe I should move. It's just, what if I move and then don't stay at this company, and the next job pays way less?

I was hired within the last year as a site supervisor. I did well my first few projects with the company. They asked if I’d be interested in transitioning into a construction manager role. I agreed. I am of counsel at a firm where I can set my own rate and keep a percentage of collections, which varies slightly depending on whether the client is one I generated or not. One of my frustrations with myself (writing it out here so I can work on it) is that I will print out something that I need, such as a traffic collision report. I will read it without actually reading it. This results in spending time without actually retaining info. Does this happen to anyone else? I’ve found that I can actually focus when I truly force myself, but often this happens after I’ve discovered an error or an important piece of information that I should have noticed earlier.

I interviewed with a company last week and the interviewer said he would submit my notes to the hiring manager and I would hear back this Monday from HR on next steps/if they want to move forward. I didn’t hear back yesterday so I emailed HR and she said she wasn’t part of the hiring decision so would reach out to the initial interviewer for his feedback. I haven’t heard from her and it’s been 24 hours - starting to get worried. What should I do? Does this mean they’re not interested?

I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ.
