SAP Sal 11.7 fixed + 1.3 Vpay = 13LPA Airbus Sal 14.3 fixed + 2.7Vpay = 17.5 LPA and 5L joining (should be given back if early exit in 3years) Both companies have other benefits apart from CTC. I'm usually M-Th, never expense Friday per diem.
I charge in per diems every day I'm in a hotel. So if you're flying out Friday, I'd go for it. Now I don't how this falls in with the latest per diem expense policy. And all of this really just depends on project/client/manager..
Wait, is the question "do you collect [food allowance for working] on days you do not work?"
you're making the decision to be away from home, not the client. Wouldn't make any sense from them to pay $45 for you to eat on a weekend away
Haha no, wether ur at home or a distant city, u do not claim per diem on that Friday. The only time u claim per diem on Friday is if ur working at the client site.
Look at the policy. If you stay in your client city over the weekend, you are allowed to charge in expenses up to the normal cost of your flight home. Including per diem.
If your flight home is 500 and your per diem is 50 per day, charging per diem over the weekend is only 150 and the project still ends up ahead.
^ this is correct. Take hotel into account too.
Nah, this is assuming I'm continuing to work, just not from my home city, on Friday. I imagine many managers are cool with it if your flight was significantly cheaper than your normal one, but curious if it's in the policies anywhere/how others do it.
Interesting. Good luck!
I think thats an obvious no on a flex trip.
Simple answer. If you're working and traveling, yes.
