Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

For reference, total benefit of ESPP is $1,125/year if you max it. While nice, it hardly moves the needle. Total benefits is on par or slightly lags with everyone else if you consider long term pension benefits most others offer (generally ~2-3% of salary/year plus compounding).
In 🇨🇦, we get 65K Moose Bucks roughly equal to 15K AUD
Thanks Julie for writing this post. How’s CR?
I was doing some math yesterday. Based on what I know of Deloitte and PwC, Accenture compensates on average 10-12% more if you consider total rewards. Accenture stock is completely solid too and growing at 10-15% YoY. So far very happy.
Not entirely true. Deloitte S&O (or whatever it is now) pays more than Accenture Strategy.
You’re missing the point SM1. OP is saying that the total compensation at Accenture is better than at others, outside of just salary and bonus
Glad things are going well at ACN OP.
Have there been issues funding the bonus pool? I’ve heard some discontent on that front.
If I hear such steady returns to shareholders but underfunding of the bonus pool I worry about a wealth transfer from junior resources to P/MD’s.
Agreed That Accenture pays more. Everything I’ve seen on Fishbowl indicates that.
At the 7+ years of experience level, Deloitte and PWC pays more, though.
PwC is 75 in NYC, 73 in Chicago and 70 in Houston
In the grand scheme of things I don’t think salary comparisons are substantial until you get to MBB. Maybe it’s just me but I’m not going to sweat a 5-10% difference in pay
Congrats OP
Again, are you considering total rewards? You can't just go off straight base salary. ESPP at 15% alone makes up any difference, if any.
Even in the base category, I learnt that Accenture gives new hires $77.5 starting salary. Deloitte is $75 and PwC is still $65-70 from what I hear. Not really sure about KPMG or EY.
ACN is 86k in NYC
PwC1 > Accenture is $80 in NYC/SF, $77.5 in Chicago/LA, and $75 in other markets.
Cool
@Op P1 is 75
It depends heavily on tenure, route to the firm, level, skillset, and performance. Just the same as every other firm. I’m sure the MBBros have the same 5-10% differential accounting for these same factors
Rewards??
didn't know Pierre was on this fishy app as well.....*waving at pierre*....bonjour! how about that crappy bonus we got from last year ;)
