I mean, we can use personal cards for expenses. To me, that's a huge benefits. #pointsfordayzzz

like

Expense policy - very fair. I think in my 3 years here I've made a net gain without having to sacrifice anything.
Benefits - more than fair, can only compre to fortune 10 companies though.
Platinum is paid for managers
Cell phone is comped at $40-60 a month and you pay the difference.
I think you should consider other factors though....

Sorry, forgot to mention only for manager and above.

Ok. Slightly tight !!

Depends on your city. I get $48 a day working in a second-class city. Whatever you don't use for food or incidentals, you keep.

A2 we get comped cell phones? How do I sign up??

Technically you're not supposed to use personal cards for any expenses (flights etc) but I know way too many people that do it

Personal card for expenses is bigger than platinum and cellphone combined. Probably make an extra $3k in additional benefits through that

Our per diems are based on Govt rates. Its kind of reasonable. . What are yours ,Accenture folks?

Anywhere to around $30 to around $60 depending on location

Per Diem is a function of location . I travel outside US and my per Diem is high 70's and on top of that I get a special per Diem ( once you cross "x" number of days ) of $20 per day . So it all depends.

I’m maxing out my 401K, traditional IRA and HSA this year and paying for some house improvements. I have about $750K total investments and very close to $2M net worth, but realize that I am behind on investments if I want to do FIRE. I was focused on paying off huge chunks of my mortgage and managed to whittle it down to $75K left. Would you suggest I go ahead and pay that off this year? Or pause and do a mega back door roth instead? I’m mid 40s. Thanks!

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
