I’m pretty sure if you’re a high income earner (>135k) it’s 3.75%, and if below threshold, it’s 7-7.5%. No match, you start receiving contributions after 2nd year of work

like

They don’t match BECAUSE they just give you the contribution… doesn’t require to designate anything to 401k. Worst part is that they don’t give it to you until 2nd year of service

Hey guys, Im 25 and I have about 35k in the bank, 21k in retirement, 41k personal invested, 5k in crypto. No debt. Is it smart to invest more during this down market or save for a house/wedding or something else that’s smarter?

Is there an easy/efficient way to figure out how much you've contributed to vs earned in your Roth accounts? I started contributing >20 years ago to my employer's Roth 401k and have rolled it over to a Roth IRA and moved it between multiple custodians, e.g. Fidelity, Vanguard, UBS, Personal Capital, etc. It is unclear to me how much I contributed vs how much I earned by investing it.

The purpose of doing this is I want to use $10K of it, but want to prove that the $10K is from my contribution.

I am classified as an agent selling health insurance but there’s a private email I recently gained access to showing the company is using my broker license and I suspected that since I’m the agent of record on a lot of business. They pay for everything including leads but I’m working as an agent in one email whereas there’s another showing I’m using my license as a broker. I get $43,000 salary plus commissions so averaging $80 K a year. Any advice?

Good morning friends, I’m currently working in a clinical healthcare role but want to transition into change mgmt (healthcare). How could I bolt onto a change mgmt engagement as an assistant or facilitator? I’m near the end of an unpaid volunteer role in an OD engagement and it has worked great because it requires low hours of work while still providing me with experience. Does anyone know of similar opportunities? All input is appreciated!

Lots of 2-year-old posts here talking about their uncertainty of buying a home or investment property. I hope you did! Looking to buy my first flip in the next couple months, does anyone have any advice on flipping vs renting? My original plan was to flip and buy rentals while keeping my capital base up with my flip homes and slowly building my rental portfolio. Any thoughts on this?

Need advice on buying my first home. I recently moved to Canada and like living in downtown city vibes. I’m looking for a 2Bed and really confused if putting all my savings and 60% of salary towards mortgage payments for 1.2M condos is worth it. Does it make sense to buy condos with all those monthly fees and live in city or buy a house around GTA for much less ? Which is better from an appreciation and resale point of view ?

I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.

Applied for a B4 senior forensic role, but was not even granted an interview after my initial phone screen with HR; I’m confused why because i thought they needed bodies. I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!
