How often do you travel for work?
Good day guys! I got two offers in U.K and Australia.
I have just applied for my U.K skilled worker visa which should be out in less than 3 weeks.
This morning, I started contemplating finalizing my Australian 482 visa as well, so that I do not put all my eggs in one basket cos I have also put in my notice with my employer.

Even better when your flight is at 5:40 AM
They are the worst
If you have a confirmed reservation, they should let you ticket it even if it is oversold. Your reservation draws from inventory. Your ticket just means it's paid for.
Interesting. Well I arrived at the desk at about 40 minutes prior to my take off time and since I had not checked in (due to phone and kiosk not allowing it) and did not have a ticket, the desk agent refused to print my ticket, and explained I only had a reservation. Perhaps they sold my seat to someone else when the 45 minute check-in requirement was not met? I'm not sure what happened but am very curious.
Yeah. You usually can't check in without a ticket so that explains that. As for why they wouldn't let you pay and ticket the reservation at the counter, if the check in deadline is T-45mins that's probably when your reservation was cancelled and your seat returned to inventory. These corporate travel agents are often more trouble than they're worth.
