Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

How's the resource management here?

Obviously they don't thing she's unqualified. Good job training her to be a manager ...
You usually don't "interview" for promotions within your own firm. Her performance reviews must have been solid and showed that she was ready to be promoted. But, talking down to people is never cool.
Don't hate the player, hate the game
Don't know the background and this could go either way but the answer is always to avoid burning bridges when you can.
Don't hate soldier - keep working and do what you have to do to move up. Obviously your colleague was doing something to get noticed.... If she took your shine, lessons learned, always make sure you are one step ahead.
Gotta love when unqualified people get promoted and they don't know anything. She will probably crash and burn all on her own.
Management in itself is more about the people's skills than the actual debit and credit technicalities ..
You could know all the latest FASB pronouncements and still have no idea of how to deal with people ..
